• • Intercity Bus Lanzarote has two offices:

• • • At the Arrecife Bus Station (Rambla Medular) with hours from Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 7:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 9 a.m.: 00h to 13:00h
    • At the Arrecife Bus Interchange with hours from Monday to Friday (except holidays) from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Travel tickets are purchased directly on the bus and must be paid in cash or with transportation vouchers.

Remember that if you purchase a ticket on board the IntercityBus Lanzarote buses, you must pay the exact amount in fractional currency, or failing that, with a ticket not exceeding €10.

How can I obtain the transportation card?

The Regular Public Transport Passenger Card of the island of Lanzarote in all its modalities, and as long as you have the right to it, its acquisition can be processed at the offices of the company operating the transport service on the island, located at Bus Station or at the Arrecife Interchange

TYPES OF BONUS TITLES

a) Purse bonds

A bonus is applied in a variable percentage to the final price of the tickets for the different personalized bonuses (General Bonus, Lanzarote Resident Bonus, Pensioner Bonus, Unemployed Bonus, Large Family Bonus, Youth Bonus, Disability Bonus, Student Bonus and Special Pensioner Bonus ).

Once the card is delivered, the recharges can be made at the offices of the Bus Station, at the Arrecife Interchange or in the vehicles that provide the service, as well as in the places that are enabled for this purpose, in this case they have must be at least five (€5.00) euros.

The card will cost two (€2.00) euros, with the same cost for renewal due to loss, theft or deterioration of the card.

1. General Bonus:

to. Discount applied: 10% on the ticket price

b. Unpersonalized voucher, it is not nominative

c. Allows the payment of multiple travelers with the same voucher.

d. Its processing is exempt from proving documentation.

2. Lanzarote Resident Bonus:

to. Discount applied: 20% on the ticket price

b. Personalized voucher, it does not allow the payment of multiple travelers with the same voucher.

c. Requirement: Be a resident on the Island of Lanzarote

3. Young Bonus:

to. Discount applied: 30% on the ticket price

b. Personalized voucher, it does not allow the payment of multiple travelers with the same voucher.

c. Requirement:

Yo. Up to 30 years of age, it can be justified with the contribution of the DNI or NIE.

ii. Be a resident on the island of Lanzarote.

d. Documentation to present:

iii. Photocopy of the Document proving the applicant’s personality (DNI) or Foreigner Identification Number (NIE).

iv. Photocopy of the registration or residence certificate.

4. Large Family Bonus:

to. Discount applied: 30% on the ticket price

b. Personalized voucher, it does not allow the payment of multiple travelers with the same voucher.

c. Requirement:

Yo. Prove the status of a member of a large family, through the official title of large family or document issued by the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands.

ii. Be a resident on the island of Lanzarote.

d. Documentation to present:

5. Unemployed Bonus:

to. Discount applied: 30% on the ticket price

b. Personalized voucher, it does not allow the payment of multiple travelers with the same voucher.

c. Requirement:

Yo. Being unemployed

ii. Be a resident on the island of Lanzarote.

d. Documentation to present:

iii. Photocopy of the Document proving the applicant’s personality (DNI) or Foreigner Identification Number (NIE).

iv. Photocopy of the registration or residence certificate.

v. Photocopy of the document proving that you are unemployed (DARDE).

6. Pensioner Bonus:

to. Discount applied: 30% on the ticket price

b. Personalized voucher, it does not allow the payment of multiple travelers with the same voucher.

c. Requirement:

Yo. Be a beneficiary of some of the public economic benefits of a social or assistance nature (pensioner due to: disability, death of the spouse, permanent disability or retirement), presenting a pension certificate, issued by the Social Security Institute (INSS).

ii. Be a resident on the island of Lanzarote.

d. Documentation to present:

iv. Photocopy of the registration or residence certificate.

v. Photocopy of the pension certificate, issued by the Social Security Institute (INSS).

7. Special Pensioner Bonus:

to. Discount applied: 60% on the ticket price

b. Personalized voucher, it does not allow the payment of multiple travelers with the same voucher.

• With the general bonus you can enjoy a 10% discount on every trip you take.
• With the good money:

• 20% reduction with bono resident in Lanzarote
• 30% deduction for bonos: jóvenes, pensionistas, numerosas familias y desempleados
• 50% reduction in student bonus or disability
• 60% off special pensioner bonus

• With the bono residente canario:

• Will be totally free if you have the minimum travel requirement of 15 days.

Bicycle access is only allowed when the bus has a trunk (never inside the bus). Suitcases and other packages have preference over bicycles.

On our buses you can travel:

• Guide dogs in accordance with Law 8/1995, of April 6.
• Pet animals whose weight does not exceed 10kg, travel in their carrier and do not occupy a seat.

Only packages that, due to their size, can be carried without taking away space that can be used by other users and without disturbing them in the driver’s opinion are allowed.

The suitcases must be placed in the trunks of the vehicles, as long as the bus has trunks.
